Hello! I am Still Here!







 HI everyone...

 I have been a bad blogger...where does the time go?? ever since returning home from this fabulous beach, I cannot get myself organized!

 Aren't these Sunsets gorgeous!!

 We had lovely warm weather, up until the last 4-5 days...it was really windy, and on the cool side.

 I do miss the warmth...

 Today is just darn miserable!!

 Dark and rainy....

 I did manage to get my Easter dining table set today...We will be having Easter dinner on Good Friday, that way, everyone will have the rest of the weekend to do whatever
 they want. We had hoped to spend some time at the cottage, but the weather doesn't look all that great...so we will wait and see. We visited last Friday, and we left the furnace on low...as it was really cold inside! Fingers crossed we get out, and start the garden cleanup!! Got everything done here at home...and the rain is actually welcome, as we are dry...dry...dry!! There was a Robin in the yard late yesterday afternoon...I am pretty sure he did not find any juicy worms here!!

Hope you are all well...and enjoying some Springlike weather...

On a sad note...the lady that we rent the cottage from in Florida, has decided not to rent it out anymore...we were totally shocked!!! We started looking immediately...the problem with Florida is...people rent year after year...very difficult to get your foot in the door...and the prices to be ON the beach, have gone thru the roof. We finally found a place...up in Northern Florida...a beeeeutiful house, with a pool!! BUT...not on the beach...but apparently a short walk... 1 block...walk to shops and restaurants...sooooo...come next February, we will get to explore a whole new place...kind of exciting...but also kind of sad... I will surely miss these sunsets from these beach chairs...


If I don't get another post up before the weekend...

    Boy can I relate...After spending 30+ years at a cabin on the water at So. Lake Tahoe, our friends that own it sold it this year. I will miss that week every year feeling the warm sand between my toes. So glad you have found another place. It sounds really nice too.

    I've been a bad blogger too....finally got myself back on track and since I deactivated fb, have a lot more time...haha.

    Love your sunsets, your lovely pictures, and of course your pretty toes.

      We are still trying to understand...guess change might be good, but I will def miss eating dinner looking at the sunset☹️
      I left FB over a year ago...best decision I ever made!

    We have aquaintances where we stay..that let go too and rent a big home every yr.. it works for them..it will for you!
    You love a pool!

    What gorgeous sunsets. Love the one with the sun floating over the sea like a giant orb suspended on nothing. They look like false teeth in the jar . . . lol
    Shame the lady will not be renting out her property any more but guess you will have a change next year . . . but we are creatures of habit, aren't we.

    As for you being a bad blogger, I am worse!!!! Just posted something, first since Christmas, informing everyone I am still alive . . . lol

      Yes we are...fingers crossed we love it!
      Those are shells in the jar...we found a Barbie this year! I have to do a post on that!

    Linda- Sorry about the loss of your beach place. Where were you renting and for how long of a period? We have a timeshare in New Smyrna and belong to a deeded owner's group. There are always people that want to rent their place out but will only do so with a referral from another owner. The place is right on the beach and you can get a unit for around $650 for a Saturday through Saturday. So, if next year your new place doesn't work out-let me know. xo Diana

    I think its great that you get to go up to your cottage when it's mild. Are you able to say overnight? i am ready for visit...really ready. I have some surgery prep to do, blood tests and such, but they don't care who does it. I'd like to leave after Easter. As always, I find peace there. Now---don't worry about me!

      Not sleeping over yet...too chilly, and the water is not on yet...I think it is gonna be a slow start to the warm weather this year.

    Wow, lots of changes, but I really believe that in life, things usually work out for the best! Have a lovely family dinner on Friday, we’ll be at a huge family dinner in TO for the first night of Passover. Then away for a week with my BF, looking forward to it.     Hope the new place works out for you, too bad about not being on the beach though, but it will have other benefits.

    I think I'm going to miss your beach photos as much as you miss the beach! Oh well, what can you do but take it all in stride and make the most of the new place. You sound very organized to have the table ready for Good Friday. I'm always getting things together in a mad dash :o Have a Happy Easter with your family, and I hope you make it up to the cottage for a day too.

    It will be fun to explore a new area for a change. I have friends who go to their same spot each year and love it. It's right on the beach. If your new one doesn't work out, I would be happy to get the info from them for you. Nothing like Florida sunsets.
